A True Friend!

“By friendship you mean the greatest love, the greatest usefulness, the most open communication, the noblest sufferings, the severest truth, the heartiest counsel, and the greatest union of minds of which brave men and women are capable.” - Jeremy Taylor.

Recognize today that not everyone can go where God is taking you. You've got to connect with people who understand your destiny and can call forth your seeds of greatness.

You don’t have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try.

Friend, life is too short to drag people along. If you will get the wrong people out of your life, then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfill the destiny He has in store for you.

I have a friend *Aduragbemi, a lady you can count on for sound counsel. A willing shoulder to lean on and a friend in all weather. How do I come to know?

As a team leader {youth}, early in my leadership days I was faced with a lot of burdens and the solution seems far-fetched. Though abroad, I shared my concerns with her.

Through her simple counsel I got to know one of the vital keys to success in leadership – “The need to know your team”. Caring to know even simple details about people and their life bring about a unique bond. It opens relationship to a new level!

Henry Durbanville defined a friend as… ‘the one who comes in when the whole world goes out.’  A true friend helps fulfill your potential and is sincere about your prosperity.

Only few attain this level but there is a friend I know who goes through fire with you and closer than your thoughts. He is The Comforter, The Holy Spirit.

*Aduragbemi is a Yoruba name.
