His Coming...

"There is no better time to remember than the day God commenced His treaty of peace with mankind, marking the beginning of the end of enmity between God" - Christian Ilomechine

I know it is impossible for God to die... but
for us to appreciate the work of the cross in redeeming humanity you will agree with me that Christ died.
Yes, the The Word (God.John 1:1-5) died! That is Love Expressed! He simply was born to die. Mankind remained hopeless until that was accomplished.
I'm so glad that He chose to come and had to go all the way for me.
I have joy today coz of the One who loved me before my existence.
I have peace today because He bore the chastisement for my peace.
I have health today because He took the stripes for me to be in health.
I'm rich today coz He chose to be poor so that I might be rich.
I'm justified today coz of His resurrection.
Above all I have hope of heaven for He His coming back soon to take me home to The Father.
So reach out always and share His Love. Let the world know our Jesus died to redeem mankind and He is alive forever more!

Compliments.

Great Grace.

A Man of Honour … A Threshold Attained!

Men in sizes, men in shapes
Of colour like rainbow, that brightens the clouds
A shining star that dot the skies
A Man of Honour, A Man of Purpose

A father of fathers
A lover of His flock
An excellent mentor
A Man of Honour, A Pastor Engraced

Of ‘Ree’ his heart – an unending love
Dan and Enoch - a shoulder to lean on
Of Eva the giver - a bosom friend
A Man of Honour, A Loving Dad

Of battles and victories, cross and crowns
Triumphs and dances, songs of praise
Apart you stood distinguished within the ranks
A Man of Honour, A Soldier of The Cross

Meekness so tangible, it melts the soul
Your smile so charming, it lifts the weary heart
Your person so warm, allays all doubt
A Man of Honour, A Humble Soul

A threshold so golden today attained
I joy with millions in fĂȘte of you
A gift you are to all mankind
A Man of Honour, A Friend of Jesus

I know you know the race ahead
The pace your strides are laced with grace
I pause today to give God thanks
For you my way He chose to bring
A timely father, friend and mentor

As We Vote…

A friend in diaspora shared with me his vision… as he prays he sees a Nigeria with streets like New York City. I say Amen! A country where our passport will be carried with dignity and commands respect among nations.

As we vote for our leaders may God give us His will and His will alone IJN!

One Great Joy this election brings is that whoever wins has 4years to deliver maximally. Our absolute and collective resolve for better government has been made crystal clear. We are better informed even our little ones are being prepared. Nigeria is receiving divine help daily.

So whether Change or Forward it only indicates that the status quo cannot remain. May that day never come that I will refuse to exercise my civic duty of voting for fear of anything or partake in any act of violence.

Pray for peace and please vote. God bless Nigeria!

A True Friend!

“By friendship you mean the greatest love, the greatest usefulness, the most open communication, the noblest sufferings, the severest truth, the heartiest counsel, and the greatest union of minds of which brave men and women are capable.” - Jeremy Taylor.

Trust: How Impeccable?

“One day, while my son Zac and I were out in the country, climbing around in some cliffs, I heard a voice from above me yell, "Hey Dad! Catch me!" I turned around to see Zac joyfully jumping off a rock straight at me. He had jumped and then yelled "Hey Dad!" I became an instant circus act, catching him. We both fell to the ground. For a moment after I caught him I could hardly talk.

When I found my voice again I gasped in exasperation: "Zac! Can you give me one good reason why you did that?"

He responded with remarkable calmness: "Sure...because you're my Dad." His whole assurance was based in the fact that his father was trustworthy. ” {Tim Hansel: Holy Sweat, 1987}

Whatever God has told please hold to it. Whatever He has promised you and your family please cling to it as if all depends on it. There will be challenges I agree, it might seems delayed and all hope drained but please don’t let go! Don’t give up on His word for you.

The horde of darkness is unleashing its fierce anger against God’s beloved and it’s not a coincidence you reading this now. It is actually to give you hope and reassurance that you can trust in His infallible word! You might even fail to notice that your trust exudes great confidence and it’s a source of strength and inspiration to many. You can’t give up now!

James Brown of Evangeline Baptist Church, Wildsville, LA shared this remarkable story some years ago when he was learning to fly:  “My instructor told me to put the plane into a steep and extended dive. I was totally unprepared for what was about to happen. After a brief time the engine stalled, and the plane began to plunge out-of-control. It soon became evident that the instructor was not going to help me at all. After a few seconds, which seemed like eternity, my mind began to function again. I quickly corrected the situation.
Immediately I turned to the instructor and began to vent my fearful frustrations on him. He very calmly said to me, "There is no position you can get this airplane into that I cannot get you out of. If you want to learn to fly, go up there and do it again." At that moment God seemed to be saying to me, "Remember this. As you serve me, there is no situation you can get yourself into that I cannot get you out of. If you trust me, you will be all right."That lesson has been proven true in my ministry many times over the years.“

“Then Nebuchadnezzar said, blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who believed in, trusted in, and relied on Him! And they set aside the king’s command and yielded their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.” Dan 3:28

I know two immutable things about God's word:
He can never fail.
He is never late.
While you are waiting you can reach out, pray, praise him more and stay very close to His word!

You will come through!
