Keep Your Hopes Alive…

"Where there is no faith in the future, there is no power in the present." - Halford E. Luccock, Unfinished Business.

A number of years ago researchers performed an experiment to see the effect hope has on those undergoing hardship. Two sets of laboratory rats were placed in separate tubs of water. The researchers left one set in the water and found that within an hour they had all drowned. The other rats were periodically lifted out of the water and then returned. When that happened, the second set of rats swam for over 24 hours. Why? Not because they were given a rest, but because they suddenly had hope!

Those animals somehow hoped that if they could stay afloat just a little longer, someone would reach down and rescue them. If hope holds such power for unthinking rodents, how much greater should is effect be on our lives.’*

One great setback you can have is looking at past opportunities you’ve missed. It has the capability of bringing you into the realms of regrets and needless pain. It makes you look behind while losing focus of the amazing and glorious future laden with sweet tales.

You’ve failed, and so what? You got married late or missed out on a lady or a promising young man, so? How does that add to the hairs on your head? You’re still a tenant and most of your friends are landlords, is that why you’re wailing?

Never forget that the race has never been to the swift. You can start a new chapter where you are! It begins with a positive outlook. A pause is not a period and let me tell you aside God, the only one that can say period concerning you is you yourself.

Please set new goals, build profitable relationship, live one day at a time; don't let anyone call you a failure coz you ain’t. Are you still breathing? Then you’ve got hope of a beautiful future that starts now!

Keep your hopes alive.

Even Joseph never stopped dreaming why should I. Dream my friend and dream very big!
