The Ancient Of Days In Infant Skin!

In a manger lies The King
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
In a city named from above
The city of David a Saviour is born
In a manger lies The Saviour

Within the stable a chosen family
To a dying world The Light has shone
From The Refiner a rare refine
To a crooked generation hope is here
In a manger lies The Purifier

Oh! What depth of love
From glory to a manger
From majestic grandeur, ineffable
To a stable unfit undesirable
In a manger lies The Lowly

In a stable with no light
But a lantern to see him The Light
Bright enough to see his smiles
Speaking smiles reaching the heart
With words so audible, words of life
In a manger lies The Light

Peace to earth, goodwill to men
I’m here The Saviour come out of your den
I am the way back to The Father’s embrace
My passionate plea do not decline
In a manger lies The Way

Joy to the world The King is come
The heavenly host in symphonic praise
Heralding the birth of the Blessed One
With joy unspeakable full of glory
In a manger lies The King of kings

He came He gave He offered
His works left the world in awe
That a King could come simply to die
For mankind that we might be saved
The wretched soul is The Light raised
The Ancient Of Days In Infant Skin!

I know words can’t be enough to express or appreciate your coming even eternity won’t do, so I say again - Thank you Merciful Saviour. Thank you Jesus for coming!

Merry Christmas!

Keep Your Hopes Alive…

"Where there is no faith in the future, there is no power in the present." - Halford E. Luccock, Unfinished Business.

A number of years ago researchers performed an experiment to see the effect hope has on those undergoing hardship. Two sets of laboratory rats were placed in separate tubs of water. The researchers left one set in the water and found that within an hour they had all drowned. The other rats were periodically lifted out of the water and then returned. When that happened, the second set of rats swam for over 24 hours. Why? Not because they were given a rest, but because they suddenly had hope!

Those animals somehow hoped that if they could stay afloat just a little longer, someone would reach down and rescue them. If hope holds such power for unthinking rodents, how much greater should is effect be on our lives.’*

One great setback you can have is looking at past opportunities you’ve missed. It has the capability of bringing you into the realms of regrets and needless pain. It makes you look behind while losing focus of the amazing and glorious future laden with sweet tales.

You’ve failed, and so what? You got married late or missed out on a lady or a promising young man, so? How does that add to the hairs on your head? You’re still a tenant and most of your friends are landlords, is that why you’re wailing?

Never forget that the race has never been to the swift. You can start a new chapter where you are! It begins with a positive outlook. A pause is not a period and let me tell you aside God, the only one that can say period concerning you is you yourself.

Please set new goals, build profitable relationship, live one day at a time; don't let anyone call you a failure coz you ain’t. Are you still breathing? Then you’ve got hope of a beautiful future that starts now!

Keep your hopes alive.

Even Joseph never stopped dreaming why should I. Dream my friend and dream very big!

You Are A Beautiful Bride!

I never used to read the book of Songs of Solomon because I felt it was for the married until recently when I decided to study the bible starting with the biblical Songs of Solomon. I read the first three chapters but it felt like a love story from a boy to a girl until I decided to put more interest, yield to God’s Spirit and unravel the mystery behind chapter four through the help of the Holy Spirit. I’m a single lady, hoping to be a bride someday and I realised that today’s scripture talks about a single lady, her appearance and her worth as a bride.

You are beautiful. Most of us like to think we are not married simply because we are not beautiful enough. But to tell you the truth, beauty is what you think of yourself. When you find the real person, he sees you as beautiful, and anytime he sees you, he doesn’t look upon you with lust, rather he sees a very beautiful lady who must be kept safe and preserved.

When a man loves you, he sees your flaws but yet, he sees no flaw (vs 7). Why? Because ‘love covers a multitude of sins’ (1 Peter 4:8). A compatible man meant for you can handle your flaws. Rather than criticise you, he seeks ways at which he can help you out. When others criticise you, he says like biblical King Solomon said, “there is no flaw in you”. A bride-to-be is not only a bride, but a sister. Someone dear to him, when he cares for her, he cares for her like his own flesh and blood- like his sister (vs 10). She fills his heart and gives him courage. Her presence gives him hope and makes him see a brighter tomorrow (vs 9). She speaks well, when she talks, it is soothing and strengthening. It’s like honey and milk (vs 11).

More importantly, a single lady, a fiancĂ©e, a bride-to-be is enclosed. She is a sealed garden, a very beautiful garden. She is a paradise with precious fruits. She is a fountain, a well of living waters. In her, is the capability and capacity to bring forth life and reproduce. She is endowed with potentials. In case you don’t understand what I mean by sealed, this is what I mean.

She is chaste, she understands the principles of sexual purity and she keeps herself pure always. She is not for everyone, she is not for every man and she is reserved for the best. She is not all over the place. She knows her worth, she knows how special she is to God. She has the capacity to change her generation positively and she recognises her body as God’s own temple.

She understands the principle of marriage which says, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled” (Heb 13:4). If you are a Christian, then stand for God. Let the world know you are for God. There is no need to defile yourself, no need to engage in premarital sex. I have come to realise that sex is a state of the mind. If you trust God to be chaste, he is ever ready to help you.

In this world of pervasiveness and sexual immorality, it is almost impossible to be chaste, but I tell you the truth, God honours such who are just, righteous and pure. Being a chaste is not a crime rather, it shows how much self- control you possess. Don’t let any man make you feel less. You deserve the best. But remember, if you want the best, you have to be the best. Work on your character, work on your physique, be beautiful for yourself and always trust God. Don’t go into a relationship because it feels right; go into it because it’s right. God loves you!

If God is your standard, he would give the strength to carry on. You don’t need to feel pathetic because you are not married, listen, YOU ARE A GARDEN, A PRODUCT OF GOD’S MAGNIFICENT EFFICENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS. YOU ARE A BRIDE!

Dear Friend, Precious One.

I woke up strong
With lot of smiles
Covering miles
Then I think to myself…

Being alive
Is a gift given
Grace released, and,
Praise to raise.

To be in the present
And to be different
To dare to dream
On the stream of passion.

On a road called mission
I’m driven by vision
Conceived with believe
I live to see.

On the sea of His Love
Greatly desired
Love so tender
That never withers

I share this joy
With you today
This gift of life
I know I can’t repay

Coz I‘m His Beloved
Of the one who is Love
And so are you…Dear friend, Precious one!

From A Grateful Heart!

Dear Saviour,
Though I cannot fathom the depth of your love. I know it will take eternity for me to comprehend the work of the Cross. Time cannot measure its value and indeed l can only stand in awe. I can only but wonder A God like you will die for a man like me. A mortal me!

So this resurrection morning l write this piece to say:

Thank you for being so thoughtful
Thank you for being so kind
Thank you for the eternal love
Thank you for coming

This debt l know I can’t repay
This love is too much for me
This compassion, beyond passion
I will live to appreciate beyond eternity.

For every drop of your precious blood
For every pain and shame you suffered
For going all the way for mankind
For this passion that is beyond description

Please draw men unto the understanding of this indescribable love and keep us in this love until your coming I pray.
I'm forever grateful Lord for this Amazing Grace! It’s truly amazingly humbling.

Your Redeemed,
Abayomi Olanrewaju

I'm The Best Me!

Let no one look down on you
You are the best, truly original
There may be many but only 'one me'
I'm not in any competition I've got no reason to be
I’m the right me no other me.

You’re restricted in the pantry a pantry man
A watchman in a lighthouse on a lonely island
A passionate maid highly despised
Your skills and zeal, indispensably resourceful
Just believe, don’t dismay you’re the best.

You’re daily bullied by friends
Not welcomed in circle of arrogant elites
It’s because you do it like no other
Smile, be proud and self-assured
I’m the best me, no other me.

I’ll relax, unwind, and soak it in, coz
I’m needed, irreplaceable and incomparable
I’ll enjoy me, love me, and savour me
I’m wired for greatness set for exploits
The best me, the only me.

I’ll reach out, live out and impact
Be the best, the very best
Touch the skies, scream out loud
I’m the difference the world’s yearning
I’m the best me, the only me!

My Thoughts For You This April...

Four is the number of completeness; wholeness & totality! Seeing the fourth month {April} is thanks worthy. You're set up for unusual progress in Jesus name.

Four things to expect:
1.      The Four Carpenters {Angelic Invasion}: Zech 1:16-18
A special deployment of Gods divine carpenters to terrify every horn that has kept your head low in Jesus name! You are breaking out of the evil vicious circle in Jesus name!
2.     The Fourth River - Euphrates {Fruitfulness}: Gen 2:14.
Be absolutely sure that every form of barrenness is fleeing your abode in Jesus name!
3.     The Fourth Day {Light}: Gen 1:16-19.
Clarity of purpose and direction. You cannot be confused. You'll know what to do per time in Jesus name!
4.    The Four Beasts {Vision}: Rev 4:8.
New vision, new dreams and new aspiration for your family, biz, life, ministry in Jesus name. You'll lead many ahead.

Beyond these God will do for you and your family in Jesus name!

Take some minutes NOW and ask God to make you a blessing this month. Matt 7:7-8.

Happy new month.

Lots of luv.

At Your Doorstep!

The dreams we have for ourselves are much smaller than the dreams God has for us. Do not be
discouraged about where you are today, just stay in faith trusting Him who said I will never leave you nor forsake you.

When you turn all around and it seems as if you are forgotten, you stood your ground amidst compromise and rejection, and it seems as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel, always remember it's darkest before dawn.

“Mr. Eugene Land had been asked to speak to a class of 59 sixth-graders. What could he say to inspire these students, most of whom would drop out of school? He wondered how he could get these predominantly black and Puerto Rican children even to look at him.
Scrapping his notes, he decided to speak to them from his heart.
"Stay in school," he admonished, "and I'll help pay the college tuition for every one of you.
"At that moment the lives of these students changed. For the first time they had hope said one student, "I had something to look forward to, something waiting for me. It was a golden feeling.
"Nearly 90 percent of that class went on to graduate from high school. - Parade Magazine

Let’s not forget that beyond composition or articulation of an award winning write-up or story lies the reality. We are constantly faced with the vicissitude of life; our plans might not go as we think does not mean that He is not aware of where you are per time – “Never!  Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands...” Isa 49:15-16

Cheer up dear friend He is at your doorstep!

"There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them." Clare Boothe Luce.

Please don’t give up on God!

Oremi - My Friend

Amongst friends you’re outstanding
Her carriage, like an angel
Her ways, pure and simple

In wisdom beyond compare
Her counsel, like an oracle of God
Her thoughts, deeply profound

In grace, full without space
Her life, a written epistle
Her love, overwhelming

In appearance, comely
Her beauty, from within
Her smiles, brilliantly charming

In thinking, broadminded
Such is my friend, “Oremi”
Ayotunde Olufunmilayo
I celebrate you!
