To Reign

Four Things You Need To Reign

Dan 5:18
O thou king, the most high god gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:

1.  Kingdom
Only kings reign [not servants]. For a king to reign he needs a kingdom [a domain, sphere of influence, your habitat]. Ask God for your purpose.
[dan 5:14  i have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.]
prayer: Lord let my light shine. Mat 5:14
The pursuit of excellence is the pursuit of purpose [direction comes]

2. Majesty
Greatness, dignity [greatness is relative - Isaac gen 26:13 David/Solomon, Elijah/Elisha - 2 kg 13:20-21]
prayer: Father make me exceedingly great IJN. Gen 26:13
The pursuit of excellence is the pursuit of greatness [expansion]

3. Glory
 Brings grace, power & authority
The opposite of reproach [a reproach is that thing that is in your life that make people ask where is your God] 2 kg 5:1 A 'but'
The opposite of failure; the opposite of shame  [prov 3:35 the wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.]
prayer: Father, remove every reproach in my life IJN.
To reign and attract God’s glory you must like what he likes & hate what he hates. Ps 1:1-3
The pursuit of excellence is the invitation of glory [heb 1:9}

4. Honour
It means to magnify, to favour
Things don’t work because you work it but because God works with you.
prayer: Father honour me this year IJN.

The pursuit of excellence comes with honour.
