At Your Doorstep!

The dreams we have for ourselves are much smaller than the dreams God has for us. Do not be
discouraged about where you are today, just stay in faith trusting Him who said I will never leave you nor forsake you.

When you turn all around and it seems as if you are forgotten, you stood your ground amidst compromise and rejection, and it seems as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel, always remember it's darkest before dawn.

“Mr. Eugene Land had been asked to speak to a class of 59 sixth-graders. What could he say to inspire these students, most of whom would drop out of school? He wondered how he could get these predominantly black and Puerto Rican children even to look at him.
Scrapping his notes, he decided to speak to them from his heart.
"Stay in school," he admonished, "and I'll help pay the college tuition for every one of you.
"At that moment the lives of these students changed. For the first time they had hope said one student, "I had something to look forward to, something waiting for me. It was a golden feeling.
"Nearly 90 percent of that class went on to graduate from high school. - Parade Magazine

Let’s not forget that beyond composition or articulation of an award winning write-up or story lies the reality. We are constantly faced with the vicissitude of life; our plans might not go as we think does not mean that He is not aware of where you are per time – “Never!  Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands...” Isa 49:15-16

Cheer up dear friend He is at your doorstep!

"There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them." Clare Boothe Luce.

Please don’t give up on God!

Oremi - My Friend

Amongst friends you’re outstanding
Her carriage, like an angel
Her ways, pure and simple

In wisdom beyond compare
Her counsel, like an oracle of God
Her thoughts, deeply profound

In grace, full without space
Her life, a written epistle
Her love, overwhelming

In appearance, comely
Her beauty, from within
Her smiles, brilliantly charming

In thinking, broadminded
Such is my friend, “Oremi”
Ayotunde Olufunmilayo
I celebrate you!
